The French Maid

This is a deliciously refreshing cocktail for the summer. It does require some ingredients than what you might have in your liquor cabinet on a normal basis but it definitely is worth it!

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz. V.S.O.P Cognac
• 1/4 oz. Velvet Falernum
• 3/4 oz. Lime JHuice
• 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup
• 1 oz. Ginger Beer
• 3 Cucumber Wheels
• 6-7 Mint Leaves 

Instructions:

• Muddle 2 wheels of cucumber wheels, mint and simple syrup at the bottom of a Collins glass. 
• Add the remaining ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
• Strain into your Collins glass with ice and garnish with remaining cucumber wheel and mint leaf.
